Dr. Shannon Fowler
Dr. Shannon Fowler is a 1997 graduate of the UAB School of Optometry in Birmingham. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama in 1993 with a B.S. in Biology and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He has provided eye care for the Destin area since 1997 and founded the Pearle franchise in 2001. Dr. Fowler has a special interest in the design and fitting of all contact lens types including lenses for astigmatism and multifocal contact lenses.

Dr. Lea Spears
Dr. Lea Spears grew up in Freeport, Florida. She attended Freeport High School and graduated in 1999. She enjoyed playing basketball, softball and volleyball during her time at Freeport. Dr. Spears received a softball scholarship to Alabama Southern Community College, where she was awarded All Tournament Team. She also was recognized with the Excellence in English and Science awards. Dr. Spears went on to graduate from the University of Florida with a Bachelor?s Degree in Microbiology. Sh
